"Food modified atmosphere preservation packaging machine" and "food lock fresh packaging machine" group standard seminar held in Shanghai

On April 8, 2019, the Standardization Technical Committee of China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association (T/CFPMA) held two group standard seminars on "Food Gas Preservation Packaging Machine" and "Food Lock Fresh Packaging Machine" in Shanghai. Chu Yufeng, director of the Standardization Technical Committee of China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting was presided over by Ding Shaohui, Secretary General of the Standardization Technical Committee of China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association.

The meeting invited Professor-level senior engineer Ju Ronghua of Nanjing Packaging Food Machinery Research Institute, Shao Jinrong, CEO of Shanghai Songtai Fluid Control Equipment Co., Ltd., Gao Yulin, Deputy General Manager of Langfang Baiguan Packaging Machinery Co., Ltd., Dr. Lei Qiao, Director of Food Packaging Engineering Teaching and Research Section of Shanghai Ocean University, Xu Bing, General Manager of Shanghai Fanming Machinery Co., Ltd., Xu Daoguan, Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Ruibao Packaging Machinery Co., Chen Xiaowen, Jiangsu Dajiang Intelligent Equipment Co., Guangdong Guangdong huang Kaibiao, Deputy General Manager of Machinery Industry Co., Ltd., Ye Jianlei, General Manager of Shanghai Jiyi Machinery Co., Ltd., Lu Jinyan, General Manager of Suzhou Senrui Fresh-keeping Equipment Co., Ltd., Liu Jianyue, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Pulisheng Packaging Co., Ltd., Zhang Zhihu, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Fanming Machinery Co., Ltd., Chen Yanglou, Fresh Products Manager of Yurun Group Technology Center, Wang Lizhi Food Co., Production Management Director, and Equipment Department deng Shanbo, Liu Feng, head of the equipment department of Shanghai Bohai Catering Group, and more than 30 experts from various institutions attended the meeting.

Chu Yufeng pointed out in his speech that in recent years, with the continuous development of modified atmosphere preservation technology, modified atmosphere packaging machines have received more and more attention and favor, and have gradually become a relatively new process in current food packaging. The global modified atmosphere packaging market will exceed $13.78 billion by 2020 at a compound annual growth rate of 4.3 per cent. At present, China has developed into one of the fastest growing markets for modified atmosphere packaging equipment, materials and gas applications in the world. China began to research and develop fresh-keeping food packaging equipment and technology in the late 1990 s. Since the 13th Five-Year Plan, the research and market application of food modified atmosphere packaging has entered a period of development. Generally speaking, the development of modified atmosphere preservation technology has made modified atmosphere packaging machines more popular. According to the investigation and analysis of China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association in recent two years, at present, there are a large number of enterprises participating in the market of modified atmosphere preservation and fresh locking packaging machine industry in China. However, due to the lack of standards and low industry threshold, the current industry competition is fierce and disorderly. The market is looking forward to standardization. Some enterprises hope to promote the development of the industry by improving the standards. This time, the two group standards of "food modified atmosphere fresh-keeping packaging machine" and "food fresh-keeping packaging machine" jointly drafted by Shanghai Fanming, Zhejiang Ruibao, Jiangsu Dajiang, Hangzhou Yongchuang, Guangdong Yuedong and Shanghai Jiyi will fully meet the industry standard requirements of food modified atmosphere fresh-keeping packaging machine and food fresh-keeping packaging machine at present and in the next three to five years.

Wang Guotuo, deputy secretary-general of the Standardization Technical Committee of China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association, reported to the expert group of the conference the background, working ideas, research process and standard text content of the two standards of "Food Modified Gas Preservation Packaging Machine" and "Food Fresh-locking Packaging Machine". The participating committee members and experts listened carefully to the report, and conducted detailed reviews and inquiries on the standards in a rigorous and scientific manner, the key details are discussed in depth. The meeting dealt with more than 20 feedback opinions received from the draft standard one by one. The meeting unanimously adopted the standard submission materials and agreed to submit the standard for approval after revision.
